Cheap Rolling Stones Tickets? Dream On.

Online ticketing agents are the fastest way to get cheap rolling stones tickets. The problem is they (the tickets) usually disappear right before your eyes as you are in the act of punching in your credit card information.

If you want to listen to Mick Jagger belting out the best hits of the group, you must hurry up and get those tickets fast. And you might be out of luck if you are looking for bargain prices. The last concert date of the Rolling Stone’s European Big Banger Tour in 2007 is slated for August 26 at the O2 Dome in London, and tickets are now selling at $ 2,260. If you cannot afford that, you might want to try your luck at Dublin in Ireland, where the Stones are rolling in on August 18 at Slane Castle. Rolling Stones tickets are still available (for this venue) for a mere $270.

After a hiatus of several years, the band came out with Stripped. The group’s last album release was in 1997 with Bridges to Babylon, and in today’s cutthroat music industry that usually means your career is over. Not the Rolling Stones. Five years later, they had four additional tracks in the compilation album cut 40 Licks and as expected, fans and new admirers alike lapped it up, especially since the band did a major tour at the same time.

There is no stopping these guys. After a successful Bigger Bang North American and Australasian tour in 2006, they rested and right after a six-month rest started their European Bigger Bang tour in June 2007. They’ll be doing the rounds in the following countries this July:

* Romania (July 17)
* Hungary (July 20)
* Czechoslovakia (July 22)
* Poland (July 25)
* Russia (July 28)

And here’s the hectic concert schedule for August. Finland (August 1) and Sweden (August 3) will lead the pack, to be followed by Denmark (Aug 5), Norway (August 8) and Switzerland (August 11). Germany has two dates (August 13 and 15) then the group moves on to Ireland (August 18) and then last stop is in Great Britain (August 21, 23 and 26). The energy they have to expend for such a grueling schedule is a testament to the professionalism and excellence that enabled the group to survive the Beatles and other music icons in terms of longevity.

The only available dates for online purchases are for Ireland on August 18 and Great Britain on August 26. Cheap tickets are almost impossible to get. Even the websites with “cheap” in their website (or domain) name have no other tickets for sale.

However, it may be a good idea to check popular online trading websites because some of the August tour dates are being sold for as little as $230 for the Gold Circle “A” tickets for Dublin and $189 for the August 8 concert in Norway.

It is quite a phenomenon seeing these 50-plus rockers strutting their stuff. Old or not, the Rolling Stones still has a fan base and they will definitely give new bands stiff competition. Two whole years of hard touring and still, cheap Rolling Stones tickets are hard to come by. Rolling stones may gather no moss, but Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and company are gathering quite a lot of other green stuff.
